JohnThornhill’s Marketing Masterclass – Product Creation – Finding A Niche

Hi everyone!  Week 8 of John Thornhill’s Marketing Masterclass update. In my last post I mentioned to you that John asked us to check out the blogs of everyone in the class and leave comments.  I have spent so much time looking at fellow class member’s blogs and commenting on their incredible achievements that I haven’t been writing any blog posts. The blogs that have been created by the fellow students are amazing.  All right, some people are a lot more experienced that others but everyone is going at the own speed and everyone should be very proud of what they have achieved in such a short time. The most important part about this course is not to give up, just keep going at your own pace and finish the course, it doesn’t matter when you finish, as long as you finish.

John Thornhill’s MasterClass – Blog Comments

In last week’s training, John asked use to try and visit and comment on other student’s blogs at least 5 times per week.  I have found some amazing blogs and incredible content.  The only problem with checking out other peoples blogs is I don’t know when to stop.  Every day I check on another couple of blogs and every day I am blown away by the skills that people have.

The headers and footers are fantastic, sidebars are full of great links and information, everyone is doing an amazing job and everyone should feel very proud of themselves.  One thing that I have noticed in the blog posts is a common consensus that everyone is enjoying the Marketing Masterclass course and that everyone can’t wait for the next lesson each week.  The really big thing that has struck me is the fact, that people are spending time going to people’s blogs and leaving comments and for me that makes it all worthwhile.

Marketing Masterclass Week 7 Review

Week 7 of John Thornhill’s Marketing Masterclass was relatively easy.  John conducted the first webinar for students of the Masterclass program on Sunday afternoon, his time, which was actually, 7am Monday, my time.  I couldn’t attend because my mornings (or most mornings) are spent ‘encouraging’ my daughter to get ready for school. So even though I could not attend the webinar, John recorded it and sent it for all the students to watch.

It was good to see that other students have experienced some of the same issues that I have and that John can answer those problems so easily. The webinar went for quite a long time but it didn’t seem long at all, not like it use to be at school when you would be watching the clock on the wall waiting for the lesson to finish.

John Thornhill’s Marketing Masterclass Week 6

John Thornhill’s Marketing Masterclass Training started with John telling us the importance of building a list.  This is the month when things start to get serious and we start to build a list.  You need a list to be successful online.  John advised everyone to sign up with Aweber.com as he found that he has never had any problems with them and if he had any queries they were always been very helpful.  I have often tried to start building a list and have always failed so I am really looking forward to this week’s lesson to find out where I went wrong.  I had already signed up with Aweber so now I can build my list with John’s help and my new found confidence.

Special Offer – Don’t Miss It

Another quick post today. Before I tell you all about week 6 of John Thornhill’s Marketing Masterclass Training, I want to give you some really good news. John as decided to give everyone an opportunity to trial his Masterclass Training for only $1 a week for the first 4 weeks. As you know, I have been telling you all about John’s course over the last few weeks. If two months ago you would have told me that I would have my own blog on the internet, I would not have believed you. Not only have I installed the blog myself but also know how to do so many other things as well. Before I started this course I had no idea how to do any of the things I know how to do now. I know how to install a blog, how to set up an email account, add links & categories to my blog, add AdSense code to blog themes that I have downloaded, upload files to my website (including Header & Footer images), put banners on my site and resize them, backup my blog, put an opt-in form on my blog and so much more.

My Header & Footer Image

How do you like my Header and Footer?  I had trouble deciding on a picture of a beach that I spent a lot of time at when I was young.  The beach was on the south coast of New South Wales in Australia and had beautiful blue water and white, white sand.  The best part about this beach was that there would have only been about 20 people on the beach every time I was there, so it was very private and quite.

The other option I had was Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.  Many years ago I worked at the Opera House so it holds some very special memories.  Great place to work, amazing building inside and outside.  One of the best memories was the amazing sunsets over the harbour, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House as I walked to the train in the afternoons.  Another memory was of the huge cruise ships that would come up the harbour to dock at Circular Quay with all the passengers on the Opera House side of the ship so they could see that amazing building.
